Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 3, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide analytics about how visitors use a site, and remember user preferences.
2. How We Use Cookies
KeyDelta uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking. Our cookies fall into two categories:
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as setting your cookie consent preferences.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
kd-cookie-consent | Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted/rejected) | Persistent (localStorage) | Essential |
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our Site by collecting anonymized information. Analytics cookies are only activated after you provide explicit consent through our cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymized before processing.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes unique visitors using a randomly generated number | 2 years | Google Analytics |
_ga_X13YMXV21P | Maintains session state for Google Analytics 4 | 2 years | Google Analytics |
_gid | Distinguishes users for a 24-hour period | 24 hours | Google Analytics |
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means:
- By default, all analytics and advertising storage is set to “denied”
- No analytics cookies are placed until you click “Accept all” in our consent banner
- If you reject cookies or select “Essential only,” Google Analytics never loads
- Existing analytics cookies are deleted if you withdraw consent
4. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat this as a rejection of analytics cookies. No consent banner will be shown, and no analytics cookies will be placed. This applies regardless of any previous consent.
5. Do Not Track (DNT)
While the Do Not Track browser signal does not have a universally adopted standard, we treat the GPC signal (which is legally recognized under the CCPA/CPRA) as the authoritative opt-out mechanism. If your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics are disabled.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You have several options for managing cookies:
- Our cookie banner— When you first visit the Site, you can accept or reject analytics cookies. To change your preference, clear your browser's localStorage for keydelta.com and refresh the page.
- Browser settings — Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect Site functionality.
- Google Analytics Opt-out — You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data across all websites.
- GPC-enabled browsers — Use a browser or extension that sends Global Privacy Control signals (such as Brave, DuckDuckGo, or Firefox with the appropriate extension).
7. Third-Party Cookies
We do not allow third-party advertising cookies on our Site. The only third-party cookies that may be placed are those from Google Analytics, and only with your explicit consent.
Our contact form is processed by Formspree, which does not set cookies on your device. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN but do not set tracking cookies.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
